The Community Values Magazine features local discount coupons and information on local businesses in Thurston County, Washington. We direct mail 420,000 magazines every year. In a 2-month period, we mail 70,000 magazines to 2 sets of demographics.

In the ODD Months, we publish the Elite Thurston County edition which we mail to approximately 29,000 to the houses in the highest average income routes in the following zip codes (98501, 02, 03, 06, 12, 13, 16) and the businesses (appx 6,000) in these zip codes, as well as 98507, 98508, 98509 for a total distribution of 35,000.

In the EVEN months, we publish the Elite South Puget Sound edition in which we mail to the remainder of the houses (except for about 1,500) to a total of 35,000 homes & businesses in Olympia, Lacey, and Tumwater.

So, between the two editions, in a 2-month period, we mail to almost 58,000 different homes and the same businesses receive a magazine every month. To view information on our demographics, please click on "Advertise With Us". There you will find all of our marketing information, i.e., demographics, production schedule, and rates, as well as a downloadable version of our "Advertisers Media Kit" and "Testimonials".

All photography, graphic design and layout are done in house. Babs is a self-taught graphic artist and designs most of the ads herself. Babs & Lee collaborate on many ads to come up with the best way to get the advertiser’s message across in the most attractive and eye appealing way possible.

Every month, the front covers are done by local graphic designers, photographers, printers and artists, as well as us. We are very proud of each and every one; we had to post them on our website. We’ve heard from some people they actually frame them. We hope you enjoy them too! In the Gallery of our Past Issues, you will now be able to view whole past magazine starting with the July 2007 issue.

We designed this website for one reason. We just can’t mail to everyone. We are expanding and growing, but we still can’t mail to everyone. So, if your home or business does not receive the magazine, this website has the same businesses and discount coupons as does the magazine and is updated by the 1st of every month.

In the midst of designing this website, we thought a Restaurant Menu Section would be a great addition. This is an ever-growing area, so keep checking back to see if your favorite restaurants menu is here. And, please feel free to mention this website to your favorite restaurant. We hope our menu section will benefit you, the consumer, and the restaurants alike.

Every month we print extra magazines. We have pick-up locations at the 3 local Lew Rents Locations and the Tumwater Chamber of Commerce. Please click on “Get your Copy” for the addresses of these 4 locations.
